Roll-End
Shipments, Remnants and Dye-Lots Most fabrics, especially polyester/cotton blends, velvets, cheniles, and silks have a tendency to flatten toward the inside end of the roll. This is caused by the weight of the outer 80% of the roll of fabric. These are referred to as roll-ends or remnants. Carefully maintained dye-lot runs are sometimes overlooked and are routinely rejected by the mills. These rolls-ends, remnants, and rejected dye-lots are generally sold off at an additional 70% discount to takers. Of course, these fabrics are most always snapped up by some fabric sellers/brokers with only huge profits in mind, not the consumer. As stated above, it’s important to know, that like ourselves, other fabric discounters/brokers will issue a Certificate of Conformity and Authenticity to all of their clients. We will issue your certificate upon fulfillment of your order. |
