For returns and to obtain written authorization of
the defective fabric you wish to return,
click the email link at the bottom of this page. It is essential to address
certain items and information pertaining to the original purchase in the
body of the email message requesting a return of the merchandise. These
certain items are: your last name; the reference number; the pattern number
or/and name; the color number or name; and the reason for the return.
Without this complete information, your return request cannot be considered.
The returned fabric must be uncut, undamaged, rolled properly on the
original cardboard roller, contained in the original package, with the
original fabric label and/or packing slip or invoice attached to the
fabric showing the complete description (distributor’s name, pattern,
color, yardage etc), or otherwise changed. When determined that the
packaging and labeling is proper, a Call Tag |

The
return of the package must by authorized by our email in response to your
return request. A pick-up order (Call Tag) will be issued by either the
mill or the distributor and the fabric will be replaced at no additional
charge to you. If you are not at home for a second pick-up attempt, the
fabric will be returned to the source of origin and reshipped to you at
your expense. By submitting your original request by email, it automatically
authorizes Discount Upholstery Fabric to charge this additional shipping
expense to the original credit card used at time of purchase.
In the unusual event that there is a recurrence of the original problem with the same pattern and color, and upon the mill's or distributor's returned receipt of the fabric, either a reselection of fabric would be expeditiously managed or a credit in the full amount of the purchase, including shipping and handling, and any applicable sales tax, will be issued promptly to the original credit card used for its purchase. Save the carrier pickup tag, as it can provide invaluable information if your return is lost in transit. The return shipping charge for all defective fabric authorized for return will be paid by the shipper. Fabric returned for any other reason will not be accepted and no credit will be issued. If a return has been erroneously accepted, the fabric purchase price is subject to a 35% restocking fee plus a 9% administration fee. Note:
